On a friend's suggestion, I recently watched the anime series Death Note. It was pretty awesome. Unless you are an anime hater, I would suggest you at least check out the first few episodes. They're up on hulu: http://www.hulu.com/death-note
I hear Death Note has some of the same voice actors as Code Geass.
I'll be checking that out for sure.

I've been listening to the new Breaking Benjamin CD like hell, MUCH better than Phobia if you ask me, can't decide between this and Saturate for my favorite album by them.

For the past year or two, I've listened a lot to Cobus. He's a drummer living in South Africa and he mostly play rather simple songs, but with an awesome technique and with awesome sound.
Three examples:
It's rather badly synced, I know.
Highlights: 2:52 and forwards.

Just finished. Code Geass is still better, but its worth watching nonetheless.

Not sure how many people are into roots music/folk...my sister (who plays the fiddle) is currently touring around with a friend of hers who's really good imo.

I'll have to check that one out. Honestly Death Note was the first Anime series iv watched in a very long time. The last ones being Pokeman and parts of Dragon Ball Z when I was in like 2nd grade.
I'm actually currently rewatching much of DBZ, but ill be hunting around for some more good anime series after this.

Bandi's YouTube channel, this is Code Geass R1 (Season 1, of 2). They have both the English sub and dub versions. I haven't watched enough anime to know what's a good dub, but I've heard from multiple places that the Code Geass dub is actually just as good as the sub.
R2 just recently finished in America so I suppose that'll become more widely available in a while. You can probably get it from various Torrent sites.

Eh Death Note sucks after(click to show spoiler) L dies the writers should have stuck to their original plan to have (click to show spoiler)L beat Kira and give him a spin off the only point of watching after that point was to wait for Kira (click to show spoiler)to die, it went from interesting back and forth and spy stuff to absurd over the topness quickly.
Code Geass is ok, a little lighter in my opinion but still really weird, I missed quite a few episodes and then finally tuned in for when he confronts his dad and was like "WTF IS GOING ON?!"
Edit: I was soooo bored in the middle when the Shinigami seemed to be out of the picture. Glad it picked up, and yeah I kinda wish it ended differently.
