I'm awake and insanely bored. Figured I'd post on here and let you know how things have been going with me lately. I first want to apologize for my lack of posting on threads. I've been really busy with work and the boy-toy. We're actually going to Florida from May 1st through to the 14th. Walt Disney World here we come! He's never been and I haven't been for almost 8 years, so pretty exciting. Umm. I miss WoW. Well, mostly I miss you guys. The late night conversations on vent, the raiding, the assignments of 'who's on who'... I was talking with Eckas and Janana today. Really got me thinking bout the game.

Casey plays. Well, played.** It ruined his grades (similar to myself), so he quit just before ToC came out. We're both trying so hard not to play... if one of us starts playing, the other will cave, and it'll destroy our grades yet again. I need parental controls on this damn game! I'm trying to convince him to 'discuss' reactivating our accounts once the expansion comes out.

Hmm. I'm running out of things to say... Uhh. What's new with you guys?

I'm probably going to play it like more than I played ME1 which means easily over 150 hours.

I wish they'd release some multiplayer version of Mass Effect one day, I would so quit WoW for that.

Ugh even a multiplayer arena mode would make me giddy.
I don't know how an MMO would work though with all the time stalls and effects they've added. I think Bioware's hesitant to try multiplayer because then people will pick up the game for multi and ignore the story or have a shit fit about class balance, but at the same time, sales are sales.

There's nothing more fun than knocking people around with psychic powers and shotgunning them or incinerating them. Too many games make telekinesis lame *looking at you Bioshock*.

What I'd love is a multiplayer FPS mode where you can enter solo or squad based combat and duke it out with powers. Or even a co op wave mode like Gears of War 2 would be sweet.

Is ME2 available for purchase/download online anywhere, like Steam? Cuz I really don't wanna have to go to the local (20 min away) game store to get it.

Edit: As you were. I just found the Digital Edition on their website. I just might get it.

If you havent played ME1, do not get 2. Its a 3 part Game line. You will be sooo confused and not understand whats going on.

The gameplay is still fun in ME1, I'd reccomend at least running through it once, otherwise you'll be like wtf.

One of my friends is planning on skipping to ME2 cuz he's like "I just want to have badass gameplay, I don't care about story" Which is why they need multi ><.

Bought ME 1 for $20 yesterday. It's a platinum hit. Playing it now.

Yeah I just finished my first playthrough of ME1 and im gonna pick up ME2 now lol.

I'm way late to this pick! I'm not sure buuut i think that truck in front of you actually hit 88.8 mph AND might be stuck in 1955...

I think I'm almost done with ME2, but I'm only 25 hours in and only level 25 as well (whereas I finished ME1 @ lvl 46). I have only a single quest left (no secondary objectives, no other primaries) and it's the suicide mission \ assault on the Collector base (shouldn't be a spoiler since the entire fucking game from the first 10 minutes talks about taking on the Collectors).

At least two levels were just "wave of 'zombie'" levels, too. Really annoying, too Halo-ey. Even one of the creatures looks like it's straight out of Halo (albeit blue/grey instead of green/tan).

Been a great game otherwise but kind of disappointed since I was hoping for another 40hr RPG-fest.
